For over 35 years, I worked in the technology sector in manufacturing and distribution here on Long Island. By nights and weekends, I led a second life, that of being an avid photo-artist. Having retired from my day job (where I sometimes continue with IT & Business Consulting), I am now free to dedicate more time to my images and my creative process.
My philosophy is "Photography is an art form, with the camera being the brush, editing software being the canvas and the photographer being the artist". As such, image capture is only the first part of my process with post-processing being of equal or greater value. Over the years my images have won numerous awards with both local and national competitions but more importantly, I simply enjoy sharing my images and expertise to help others learn and grow.
